Post your suggestions for the best stocking stuffers. I personally have NO idea what to put in my children's stockings. I have all their gifts for under the tree but I am stuck for their stockings. What do you usually put in stockings? Either for children or adults.
Huge thanks to *Kiliki* for the FANTABULOUS new siggy!!
Little toys or hand held games, chocolate, cds, coloring books/crayons, socks, temporary tattoos and/or stickers, lifesaver book (every year since I was little!), scratch (lotto) tix, candles, bath bubbles & soaps, hockey/baseball cards, fancy tea bags/flavored coffee packets, paperback books, mittens, gift cards for coffee places (Tim's, Starbucks)
I LOVE DOING THE STOCKINGS!!!!!!
~Sometimes the days seem long, but the years are so very short.~
when I was a kid and an older kid... every year I or my younger sisters would get some of the following:
Large Orange and Large apple (in the very bottom of my stocking
lip gloss/chap stick/ lip whatever...
small picture frames
batteries (for any gifts I was about to open! lol)
(these all obviously range from a very young age to teenage and up. lol)
I like scratch tickets, and little gift cards for things like coffees and such, also those mandarin oranges. My parents also love to give toothbrushes and mini cosmetic stuff like travel size shampoo's their a funny bunch I also like to give those little mini-books with quotes or sudoku games that type of little stuff, those little mind puzzles are good too trying to think of what they are called, but those little metal puzzles where you need to remove the ring type thing
So far for Alyssa's I bought some age appropriate candy, a colouring book, a back of jumbo crayons, a few books, a couple of DVDs, a couple of new sippy cups, a hairbrush (so she doesn't keep taking off with mine!), some soaps/lotions, batteries for her gifts, and a few other things I can't remember right now.. but since our stockings are 3 feet tall, I still have a lot left to get!
