What do you consider to be the best thing about the town that you live in?

- I live in Elmvale which really doesn't have much to offer. The thing that I like the most is that it is a small town and the people here still seem to respect family life. Everyone that I have met in this town so far has been positive and happy. For me this is a big thing because the town that I moved from about 7 months ago had a very negetive atmosphere that translated into my not wanting to try and be a productive member of the community.

Well I just moved about 9 weeks ago. So far my new town has zero endearing qualities! Oh noes!
I'm hoping once it warms up I will feel differently but so far it is boring and kind of un-friendly
Maybe everyone is just too cold to be nice?

I like lots of stuff about my town, but tied for number one are the Christian school and our church.

I'd say our Oktoberfest festival. Our city has the second largest Oktoberfest in the world (Germany has the largest), we get tourists from all over the world.

I live in Toronto... I guess it is known for some things Its... large. Lots of people. Lots of things to do, but traveling takes a while since its so expensive to have a car here, so you either have to walk or take transit. Its okay, but there are so many things I miss about living in "suburbia".

I actually hate where I live. I live in Surrey, BC... ick. the only good thing is that all BF's family is within a 10 minute drive... other than that... it's pretty crappy here. lol

I really miss my home town!! Ajax/Pickering, Ontario!!!!!

I like the town I live in because it's quiet. It's a VERY small village and there aren't many people you don't know. It's very tight and very peaceful (sometimes) I don't enjoy the drama though which comes with small towns/villages. I've lived here since I was 10 and I know everyone and everyone knows me... Is that a good thing? I don't know! OH! how could I forget? My mom and dad's family are all from around here as well and same with my DF's. My family is very close.

I live in Red Deer, and I like the size the best, it has about 80,000 ppl. So it has most of the shopping I need, with still a little bit of small town living. It doesn't have it's own big airport, which sucks, but Edmonton or Calgary are only 90 min away!
I guess the main downside is because it's growing so fast there is Always construction everywhere and we find a lot of small crimes like stolen cars and B&E's

I currently live in Portage La Prairie. Where did you live? I've lived a few places in Manitoba but like Portage the least so far.

I'm not a big fan of where I live. I think the two main reasons for that are that I'm a country bumpkin at heart, and that I live in a very dirty area of town. But I do like that almost anything that I could possibly want are within walking distance, and the furthest that any of my immediate family and most of J's live is a 4 hour drive.
