Hi guys..I dont post here often but I just had a baby two weeks ago and I am thinking of trying parents choice diapers from walmart.
Has anyone tried size 1? How good are they?

Does anyone have any suggestions of any other diapers that are cheap in price?

Thanks a lot

Those are the only diapers other than Pampers Swaddlers/Cruisers, that we've had any success with.
My oldest leaked through everything but Pampers but my youngest wears the Parents Choice (and Pampers).

They're the only "low end" brand that works for us as well. We use those or Pampers

stepping out of lurkdom for a minute LOL!

I have used Teddy's Choice (you can find them at Fortinos, Zehrs, No Frills, Loblaws) with success. I also like Kirkland (from Costco), but they aren't the cheapest.

Parent's Choice work well for us NOW but as a breast fed new born Huggies were the only ones that worked. Everything else was a blowout. Pampers never really worked well for us and still don't, too flimsy for James. He's a pee machine! I also like the Kirkland brand from Costco which if I am not mistaken is made by Huggies?? There isn't a Costco near us now or that would be my choice for diapers everyday. I think every babe is different honestly!

I'm a lurker ... but with both my boys the ONLY diaper that they did not leak at night with was Teddies Choice (Available at No Frills ... Superstores ... Loblaws).
They are $20 for a case when they are on sale and they are SUPER!

The only brand my son did not leak through was Pampers... as for cheaper dipers, I did try the President's choice ones but they did not work for us.

I've tried all brands, they ALL leak when she poops, I've even tried smaller sizes. I find Pampers hold pee best, Huggies the worst.

What I do is I buy Parents Choice and keep coupons for name brand in my walllet, so that way when they go on sale, I get them at the sale price PLUS the coupon, so I get them at the cheap brand price

OMGi love the parent choice diapers from walmart, they are a good price, and I have never had any problems with them with matthew. With christopher though he got a horrilbe rash from them.
My runner up would be safeway no name...now i havent used them in a while, and they may have changed since i last used them but when i did use them they were alrgiht.

I haven't used personally yet, but my sister used Teddy's Choice almost exclusively for her two kids. She never had a problem, and they're always on sale. I have a bunch in my baby closet already, so I'm hoping they work well for me too.

I use Teddies Choice sold at the Loblaws stores. Super stores, Shers. I used to use the Zellers Luvs Brand before my son but really love the Teddies Choice ones. I hate the walmart no name brands.

I love Parent's Choice and Teddy's Choice. I also like Luvs but I can only find them in the US, you might have them there though..

Teddys Choice from No Frills/Loblaws and pampers cruisers/swaddlers were the only ones that worked for us too, for both of the kids

Both Parents Choice and Teddy's diapers didn't work for us. Only Pampers Swaddlers, but we're moving to cloth very soon.

I use Teddy's Choice (Supertore, Loblaws, Independant Grocer) on sale you can get 19.97$ for Size 3's, 4's, 5's or 6's. The box sizes are 148 in the size 3's. 136 in the size 4's. I'm not into 5's yet!

My daughter is 10 months and very active, rolls around, scoots around on the floor, very mobile. The diaper stays on and can handle big loads. My daughter is a pooping machine and has no issues with her more.... Generous 'Gifts for Mummy' shall we say, stayign in her diaper.

Meg
