Ahhhhh!!! I'm freaking out! It's looking like we may very well be selling our house and moving... DH CANNOT find a new job around here... and the industry here is so unstable.. no one even blinks an eyelash at the fact that he's been laid off twice within a 6 month period... He's good some good prospects in Kitchener and if this pans out we will be re-locating.. It's going to be a pain and i'm terrified of all the work involved in trying to sell my house.... so I've been looking at real estate listings and those are the 3 towns within 1 hour driving distance that we seem to be able to afford... Though Cambridge means we would have to downgrade what we are used to living in...

Ahhhh!!

edited because woodstock seems to be within range too

I live in Brantford and it has your areas that are nice to live in and other areas you'll want to stay out of. If you have any question regarding Brantford pm me I will answer to the best of my ability!

I don't know too much real estate wise about Brantford or Stratford, but I used to work in real estate in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge. I'm on maternity leave now. I know about Cambridge. If you have any questions about Cambridge feel free to pm me! I hope you are able to do whats best and good luck!

Aww Stacey! That made me smile Thanks!

We found the perfect place right in Kitchener, 10 min from where DH is applying to work, 3 min from where our best friends live...It's about 40k over our price range but it's a duplex so we'd get rental income for it AND it'd be an upgrade as we would go from 3 bedroom to 4! It'd be so awesome.. LOL but I don't think I will be able to move quickly enough on it... DH doesn't have the job yet, and our house isn't even for sale yet...

Oh well now I know I may be able to get something right in Kitchener... It's kinda nice to know.
