If we need a specialty store we have to travel. But I live in a small -ish town.... we have a walmart, good Drs, a hospital, lots of little stores... a canadian tire.... And the closest malls are about 30 mins away. so we are set up here very well.
my town has nothing! we have 2 gas stations, 3 liquor stores for some reason, a graden market that is way to pricy to even think about about shopping there and a bar... haha I have to drive 25 min to the next town over to get anything...stupid small town and broke down mini van!!! grrrrrrr

I don't call the place where I live a city. It's a town at most. If we want to buy clothes without going to walmart or spending a bloody fortune on a t-shirt we have to drive an hour to the big (and I use the term big loosely) mall in the city. After growing up in Vancouver where I could go to metrotown mall, lougheed mall, guildford mall or coquitlam centre this town took a lot of getting used to.
Patricia, wife to Chris and mom to Dominick with baby boy #2 due this summer! Forever missing my two little angels.
haha, we have two convenience stores, two gas stations, and one restaurant. The closest grocery store is 30 minutes away, as is the closest Tim Hortons lol. The nearest city is an hour in either direction.
