Out East!!!!! In the worst way! We had plans to road trip out there next summer but now that I'm pregnant we're delaying that for a few years at least!
DH has gone to at least 1 east coast province every year since we've been dating, and I haven't been since I was 10! I feel a deep deep connection to the East Coast (specifically Cape Breton) for some strange reason. We have a lot of family connections out there, but I haven't seen or heard from any other them for almost 15 years.
My parents first took me there by car at 9 months old! (road tripping from the prairies-crazy people I think they were!) I don't want to do it with a baby... but it's important to me that our kids experience our country in a similar way to how I did. We road tripped every year and I have such a love and appreciation for Canada and geography I think largely because of that!
That's cool that you all want travel somewhere in Canada.
We are going to Peru in February of 2014 because Richard really wants to see Macchu Picchu. I went there in 2004 with my Dad. I don't mind going again but I told Rich we are skipping everywhere except for Macchu Picchu and Cusco and maybe Lake Titicaca. I didn't feel comfortable in some of the other places I visited the first time because they were grotty and poor.
But the next trip thatI would like to go on would be Romania, but I think we will take Theo to England to visit his great grandma before I get to do that.

That'd be a cool adventure. Would you go through Canada or the States?
Depends if I get my butt in gear and get Cameron's passport, and how much time DH can get off for vacation next year. I'd be happy either way. I've never actually been to the states (flew over it but never went), and I've never been out west.
I would also love to go back to St. John's...it was beautiful there!
My next trip after that would be Croatia...DH's grandmother spends half her time in Canada and half her time there where they have a house...so all we would need to pay is airfare if we go when she's there (in the summer...she spends her winters in Canada, crazy lady!)
