It's because of a dumb move too. I was on ice with my DD2's ringette practice Sunday evening and I was skaing backwards encouraging the girls to keep up with me. Well, I didn't notice that the net had been pushed up against the boards so as I was getting faster going backwards and looking at the girls not where I was going, I smashed into the net, fell backwards, got the center bar across my back and smashed my head on the ice. DD2, not being able to stop fast enough, then landed on top of me.
I didn't feel too bad right after it happened, other than my bruised pride. Monday morning however I started hurt! My head hurts, my back hurts, my hips hurt and one leg hurts.
Today I finally decided it was time to talk to my doctor since it's now Wednesday and my headache is not going away. The muscle pain I expect to life with for a bit, but this headache I was expecting to go away. I've also been feeling tired and feeling like I'm living somewhat in a daze, but I've been blaming that on DS being sick and up in the night for the past 4 nights.
Well, I guess I can't blame DS for me being tired and in a daze. Apparently I gave myself a mild concussion and I can expect to feel like this for at least the next week, complete with the headache. If it lasts longer than that or gets worse I'm to go back in.
Seriously, only I could pull off a move this dumb.
