- A neighbour always gets the girls a chocolate one
- An aunt always brings a big wooden Christmas tree one that she attaches 24 small wrapped presents to - things like a little bottle of bubble bath, small craft kits or Christmas socks - she gets really creative
- We have one that looks like ski lodge that serves as our table center piece that has little drawers on each side and I fill it with either chocolate or trinket type gifts
- Finally this year we bought the girls a Lego one.
This is my first year doing one with the kids, since Leah is old enough now. I got them the chocolate ones, but Leah doesn't like the chocolate. oh well! We'll do something else next year, but at least it will help her count down to Christmas Eve. I think she'll be giving the chocolates to James from now on.
I plan on doing it with Theo. We used to each do a day when I was growing up. I don't want Theo to do it every day since he is an only so I think me and Rich'll have to participate. I would like to do one of the pocket ones.
