You get up at 6am on a cold winter morning to go sit in a cold ice rink.

You know that Canada has provinces and territories

You wear a toque in the winter

You know what a Caesar is

Mr. Dressup was way awesomer than Mr Rogers

You find yourself wanting a double double after reading that

and while not exclusive to Canada, I feel the need to get the following out of my system:

colour

realise

kilometer

centimeter

z (zed)

aaaaaaaaaaand

poutine

chesterfield

pop

two four

Chesterfield is just an old person saying!

You have heard of people betting on or have bet on when the wreck is going to fall into the lake when the spring thaw comes (rural).

You have heard at least 10 different languages spoken (urban).

When your entire town gathers to watch the "ice run" (rural).

Local hockey is the best (or only) entertainment in town.

We know we have a prime minister, not a president or monarchy.

You've gone snowmobiling in running shoes

10 degrees celcius in the spring is downright balmy after the cold winter

They are the straight cut rocks where they have had to blast the rock to put the highway through.

I guess this would be for Canadians who live/have lived or spend a lot of time on the Canadian Shield!

I've only been on a snowmobile once - and I fell off the back and skidded on the road.
