Dentist was ok...we're going for sure with the implant instead of the crown, so now we're waiting to see what my insurance will cover - it should be 60% but they have the final say
helios - you may want to try and join myfitnesspal.com...I've lost 55lbs since August using that - it tracks your food intake and your exercise. I recommend it to everyone! My friend has lost 150lbs using it. It also works for lower weight loss goals like 25lbs.
So I had a 15 min phone consult with a sleep specialist...unfortunately it was useless...she really didn't give any concrete advice and wanted me to buy her 2 day package...$125....not in our budget right now. All I wanted was some suggestions on transitioning a co-sleeping baby to a crib since we're having a heck of a time. She kept roundabouting me. I just bought "No Cry Sleep Solution" on my kindle and will start reading it tonight.

Sorry you need to have some crappy dental work done, Jess. I hate the dentist too! I have to go in to have a graft done on my gums next month to fix some recession on one of my molars and I am not looking forward to it. Yuck!
Thanks for the suggestion about myfitnesspal! I will check it out. Any holy crow, 55lbs??? That's amazing!
As far as the sleep issues go - we had a heck of a time too with transitioning from cosleeping to crib sleeping. I picked up the no cry sleep solution as well, and there is some good advice in there but what I really found the most helpful is just to use persistence. I could never, ever get my son to fall asleep in his crib, so I just kept putting him down in his crib as soon as he was out. At first he would wake up immediately and cry, so I would pick him up, get him back to sleep, and do it again. Over time he began to get used to it and tolerate being put down when he was in a light sleep. Now he sleeps about half the night alone in his crib. He isn't perfect yet, but we are very slowly getting there. Right now we still co-sleep with him, but only for the second half of the night, and DP and I take turns sleeping with him in his room so that we each get a good sleep at least 50% of the time. It isn't ideal, but he did sleep through the night once, so I know he can do it, and it gives me hope! I hope you get things figured out, sleep issues are really tough.
Busy day here!!!! We went and saw Identity Thief this afternoon. There was like a good 25 ladies there, all with babies under a year. It was awesome! There was even some newborns. I had SO much fun! I'm sad there isn't one next week because its March Break.
And we met with a daycare provider tonight. The first one. We love her! DH doesn't want to look for anyone else. But I feel I need something to compare to. Thoughts? She has 3 spots available (3 of her 4 current kids start full time kindergarten, and the fourth goes to part time kindergarten so will be there part time in September so she's losing everyone). So basically she's had all the kids since about a year old...and they've all stayed with her....that's a good sign right? I have 3 references to check as well, two current and a prior.

Ahhh! So exciting!!!!! I can't wait to hear how things go!!!! It is so stressful. We just bought our house in Sept 2011, and we were new to the whole process. But I'm sure it will go smoothly for you.

How old is your son, helios? We kind of are in the same situation with Theo the half night in the crib and half in the bed.
I am glad you had such a good time at the movies, Jess. I haven't been in a few weeks. I was supposed to go see The Hobbit this past Monday but couldn't since Theo was sick.
I also totally agree with going with your first instinct.
Caroline, I hope the house deal goes the way you want it to.
Today was a pretty boring day - we just hung out. Theo really likes the marionette that I bought from the Salvation Army yesterday. They had 3 others there so I am going to go tomorrow and buy them if they are still there. Thursday is 50% off day and they were $5 each - yes, I am a penny pincher.
No issues with penny pinching. A lot of Cam's toys come from Kijiji (specific things), hand me downs, or ridiculous sales. I rarely if ever pay full price. I remember when I was buying maternity clothes I spent like $121 and it said I saved $256 (at least double what I actually spent, I can't remember the exact numbers).
We have our last swimming tomorrow. I think I'm going to look into the swimming lessons next rather than doing water yoga again. But we have to do something since he loves the water!

If we get this house it will be the 4th house we've bought. We bought our first in 2002 when we got married. Then we moved after we had DD1 in 2004, we moved again in 2007 after having DD2 and now were're looking at doing it again.
The buying part isn't so bad, it's the selling. I hate having to keep my house looking perfect and having strangers coming in and out pretty much whenever they want. Then there's the juggling act of getting both closing dates to line up.
My friend was 8 months pregnant and ended up living with her inlaws for 6 weeks and they got their house not 10 days before her due date because the people that bought their home and those they bought from were so inflexible. Worst case scenario!
It will all work out for best I'm sure I can't wait to hear!!!! How far is it from where you are now? I can't remember if you said how far.
We got like 4cm last night...what the heck!!! This snow needs to go!

No extra snow here!! We're in the +0 temperatures now, currently it's +3 outside and I have my kitchen window open!
It's about a half hour from where we are now, so it's not a huge move, just enough to get us out of the city and back into small town living the way both DH and I grew up.
I've started going through things last night and plan on continuing today. Last night I got rid of a whole bunch of baby stuff to a friend who unexpectantly found herself preggy. I gave her my spare crib, a rocking chair, a highchair, an exersauser, a bouncy chair, a change table and a few smaller things like nursing pillows and such. It's amazing how much room that stuff takes up. Today I'm going through my kitchen and sorting tupperware and plastic containers as well as my cake decorating supplies.
Ohhh, fun!!!! I need to sort out my kitchen cupboards lol. I love organizing, wish I had more time to do it lol. I'm going to organize Cam's closet this afternoon while giving him some crib time.
Well, this was our 2nd last water yoga session, we still have one more! And I signed us up for Waterbabies starting in April. So excited!

Garbage bags, toilet paper and paper towels. 3 things that no one ever writes on the grocery list when they use the last out of the package and I always seem to run out of. It's very annoying.
DH makes fun of me because I always buy toilet paper and paper towel in bulk when its on sale. My parents have a hot tub in their ensuite bathroom and they don't use it...all the toilet paper they buy when its on sale is stored in it
I'm picky though, and only like certain toilet paper and paper towel.
Mmmm, enjoying an afternoon coffee...I coffee.
