I love our chat thread, I feel I really get to know you guys better. Don't forget that Canuck of the Week is also starting up this month!
To pick up where we left off....the slush here is ridiculous as well. I'm not even attempting walks, we just let the dog run in the backyard and with the neighbour's little girl. We hope to put a fence in this year (we were going to last year, but then the neighbours moved, and then Cam was born, and suddenly it was fall/winter...), we just need to enclose the one side, since our other neighbours have a pool so there's a fence on that side already (and we back onto a sound barrier).

I'm so excited! This weekend we're going to look at a house in the little village where I grew up! I've always wanted to move back there. The location is perfect, it's directly across from the park, less than 2 blocks away from the library and close to the corner store. It's not a country house, but I'd be much closer to my parents, they live 5 min outside of the village on the family farm and with kids it would be perfect for them to be in the village where they can walk to everything. It's also a 4+1 bedroom which would be heaven compaired to the 3 bedroom we're living in now. The only concern is that its an old house with a low and possibly damp basement. I hope I'm not setting myself up for dissappointment.
Ohhh, that sounds great Caroline! I hope there's no issues with the basement!!!! I'll be thinking of you I live a 2 min drive from my parents, and it is probably the best thing ever.
Loved my time alone but I was happy to get back home

Our other option is builing a granny suit on the family farm and moving out there. My parents need more help and I'm an only child, so one way or another we'll be moving closer to them sooner rather than later. I love the idea of living on the farm, but DH isn't sure about actually living with my parents, and I kinda like the idea of the village so that the kids can walk places and visit friends without me having to drive them every time. Moving into the village is also a lot easier option than building on the farm, although cost wise it's about the same. This house just seems to be in the right place at the right time with the right cost, so it doesn't hurt to go look.
Cam is down!!!! I've started putting him on his stomach yesterday and today and he seems to sleep better there...we'll see how this goes. But I check on him three times as much

All my babies slept on their tummies. None of them would sleep at all on their backs, on their tummies though they all were sleeping at least 6 hours by 12 weeks. I know tummy sleeping isn't for everyone but it worked so well for us. Good luck with it, I hope it means you get some sleep.
I get 1.5 hours when I'm not there vs 25-45 minutes. So I'll stick with it for now. He has more than enough control to turn his head so I'm not too concerned. Its so funny, my mom said they put us on our tummies because it helped bring up burps. Every time I put him down after nursing him, he burps and settles!

I'm a tummy sleeper so he takes after me! It was horrible when I was pregnant, and couldn't sleep on my tummy. Now I curl myself around him since we're still bed-sharing. One day I will tummy sleep again!

Had an ultrasound today and my darling child is measuring around 11lbs 6oz. Getting a little worried now to say the least. I know sometimes they can be off but this little baby looked huge!
Got an appointment with the specialist monday, wish me luck!
Theo seems to sleep better alone when he is on his side. I was able to get him to sleep alone for his nap and when he first went down to sleep tonight. Yay.
I finished the trim in the kitchen today other than details to finish. It's nice to have the project done.
I didn't even go outside today other than to grab the mail.
