Even though its Ontario, figured it could be applied Canada-wide (already in place in Quebec).

What do you think of the recommendations?
Are they practical?
Do you think they could make a difference?

I think that it is a great idea. So many of the ingredients in junk food are not even what they used to be. Pop is made with HFCS and not sugar, chocolate is made with some sort of cheaper cocoa butter or something.

None of us need that.

I don't know how effective it will be given parents are likely the ones that control what is purchased. And if its even practical...although I wouldn't mind if they remove chocolate bars and such from the grocery checkout - that gets me every time!

Honestly, I don't think it will help much. It's the parents that buy this junk, not the kids. It's my opinion that if parents were concerned about it, they wouldn't buy it for their kids as much. If parent's are unconcerned, they will buy it regardless of the advertising.
