This is kind of random but my Grandma just turned 93 and the guy across the street is 89. Both of them mention being ready to go at any time on a regular basis. They aren't depressed or anything but they are just fine with being dead.

I hope that I die before I feel that way.

Oh yeah! I don't want to live to be very old! I'd much rather die in my late 70s/early 80s...then live to be 100! (although the letter from the queen on your birthday would be pretty awesome!)

I just don't want to lose my mind or be in adult diapers/bed ridden... I think I have a pretty healthy relationship with death... we all gotta go sometime!

I think it will depend on how healthy and active I am. I have two great aunts that are in their 90's and in perfect health, still drive, visit, are involved in things and if I could be like that, I would be okay with it.

Thank you for reminding me! I have to see if he has received the letter from the Prime Minister yet. I did it for my Grandma and she thought it was pretty cool.

I have to wait until he turns 90! It is every 5 years after you turn 65.

But I am going to order my Grandma a message from the Governor General since she is over 90.

Id like to live to be elderly if i was still healthy enough to enjoy being alive, Id love to get to play with my great grandchild or great great grandchildren. But i dont want to be 100 and in a nursing home, unable to do anything for myself. Im actually pretty terrified of being dead so its not something i really think about (well i try not to anyway)
