Bedtime wasn't bad at all, he actually went down only about a half hour later than normal.

All my kids have been awesome sleepers. 6 hours at night by 6 weeks, 2 daytime naps until a year, 1 daytime nap until about 3 years. I really can't complain about my kids and sleeping. They will even sleep when we are out somewhere, I mean these kids can fall asleep anywhere. DD2 is the absolute best though, before she was 2 she knew when she was tired and would just look at us, say night night, crawl upstairs and put herself to bed. She still does, it doesn't matter what's going on, where we are or who's at our house if she's tired she goes to bed or finds a spot to curl up and sleep if we aren't at home.

Sophia used to be like that, then she got sick and woke up in the night and we would rock her back to sleep. Now she thinks she has to be rocked to sleep, but she's slowly going back to the way she was before. It's not that I mind rocking her to sleep, I love it actually, it's just hard with her and Hannah when only DH or I are home in the evening.

He slept from 10-3:45 last night It was awesome!!!!

Maybe one day he'll be a good sleeper...I can only hope! I was following the 'Terrific Talk Tuesday' on the sleep specialist I have liked on facebook, and I asked a question, and she thinks even though he goes into his crib awake, nursing is still a sleep association for him...he needs it before he falls asleep. So now I gotta figure out how to move that around to remove it as an association!

I have hope!!!! I had no idea it would be this long though!

Phew, day 3 of the 30 day shred...I love it, I don't know why I always quit partway through. I love doing it in the morning...it sucks when I have to do it at night!

Yay!!! That's amazing!

Now that my son is sleeping better, I am having some issues with insomnia. I can't win!

I did the 30 day shred this past august....... it resulted in pregnancy.

Well not quite, but I did get pregnant at the end of the month My favorite was level 2!!! I think if I were to start it again (which is the plan for next August too) I will just do 3 weeks of level 2

This is the 3rd time I've done it...the first time was for my wedding and I did maybe 12 days (10 days of level 1 and 2ish days of level 2). Then in February I got to day 20 (7 days of level 1 and 13 days of level 2)...then we switched Cam to his crib and I was getting less sleep and I stopped. So now I am starting again! I definitely prefer level 2 to level 1, but I've never done level 3. We want to get pregnant this summer so who knows...it could result in a pregnancy.

Oh my Kalynn! You are going to have a baby NEXT MONTH!!!!

Lol, I just wanted to point that out...I have 2 friends IRL due in May. Super exciting!!!!

Just went for a walk with the dog (and Cam of course). It looks much nicer out than it is I was freezing! I had bundled Cam up and put the rain cover over to block the wind...but didn't bundle myself up!

I'm sure each time will get just a bit less harder! For the 30 day shred, I find by day 5 I notice a difference

Off to have a hot tub with my sister shortly...I love hot tubs!

A hot tub sounds great right now.

Rich probably won't be home until really late again so I think I will try grocery shopping with the stroller. I don't need too many things.

Theo scooted backwards a fair distance this afternoon. Woo hoo.

I am watching Mad Men right now with Theo on the couch - he is being very clingy!

Is he teething? Have fun grocery shopping!

The hot tub was amazing, as usual! Just what I needed

Now for a relaxing night of TV.

We had a hot tub once, it was just one of those little round portable ones, I didn't love it. Maybe if we had a real one with seats and such I would have liked it more.

I've had a migraine all day, I got absolutely nothing done and then ordered in supper because I didn't feel like cooking.

Tomorrow should be interesting, DH starts his first overnight shift. That means he has to get some sleep during the day in order to stay up all night. I have no idea how I'm going to keep DS both quiet and away from Daddy all day. He's been such a Daddy's boy recently that DH can't even leave the room without tears.

Its supposed to be 9 degrees here tomorrow...are there some outside activities you can do? I know that makes it harder on you getting things ready though.

Cam was super fussy between 9 and 10 last night. He has been super fussy between 9ish and now again...dare I wonder if we have another long stretch???? I've got everything crossed!

Hope you got another night of sleep Jess.

We're pretty much ready, so taking DS to the park or something may be a good idea today. This evening, my Mom and DH's parents are coming over to paint the basement and put trim up where it was damaged and had to come down. After that it's just a matter of keeping up with laundry, dishes and kids toys so the place stays looking good. I think tomorrow I can call the agent and get this place on the market.

LOL, this thread should be called The Canadians trying to lose weight and get sleep thread

I have lost 25 lbs since Jan 1. I figure slow and steady and just don't give up! If I want something I eat it, and just be modest about it, seems to be the only thing that works for me.

I'm not new to JM, but kind of new to this board, just thought a quick introduction would be in order, I'm Mindy, 31, Western Quebec, no babies yet, but I have 2 beautiful goddaughters! Looking forward to getting to know everyone else a little better
