Are you brand loyal? Do you go with what's cheapest? Or are you somewhere in the middle?

What things are you brand loyal about?

I'm all over the place... Some things I'm brand loyal.. and sometimes it's just my mood on that shopping trip...
For example, I have in the past bought generic 'Cotton Swabs' to save a couple cents.... NEVER AGAIN!!! Q tips all the way!
I go back and forth on toilet paper as well... I really love the name brand stuff, but it can be hard to justify the price... I usually regret buying cheap though.
The only other thing that jumps to mind is cooking spray. I bought no name once... I rarely get it, but now it's PAM or nothing.

Otherwise Dh is extremely brand loyal to tea! He will only have either Red Rose, or Twinnings.

I think for most other items I'm ok to skip the brand name, but occasionally it does work out to be cheaper...

I look for what is cheapest but some I don't compromise on...

- KD
- sidekicks
- folgers coffee
- oreo cookies
- lays chips
- oreville popcorn
- betty crocker cake mixes and icing
- our dog's food (she has a sensitive stomach...this isn't by choice!)

That's just off the top of my head lol I'm sure there's more, but I just founds brands I prefer and like to stick with them...and if a competitor is on sale, I may try them, but if I know I prefer my brand, I'll pay the 'premium'.

I would totally believe that, Jess! We don't buy it that often, but the kids LOVE it!

I'm brand loyal about coffee, KD, tampons/pads, toilet paper, and most hygiene stuff (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc). I don't have one specific brand, but I don't buy generic of those things, except KD- it must be Kraft!

Pampers, I know there are cheaper options but they just dont work for my babies and I always end up with a soaked baby or a major blowout. Pampers wipes as well the other are too scenty or sucky.

Tide free coldwater and bounce free for my clothes, but only ivory snow for my babies (until they are two, lol i love the smell and feel of the clothes, but cant justify buying it for the whole fam)

Palmolive dish liquid I just dont like the others

KD generic mac and cheese just doesnt cut it.

I'm brand loyal to:

Kotex tampons
Heinz ketchup
Kraft Cheesewhiz, I can't stand the stuff but my DH loves it
Dove shampoo, body wash and deodorant
Cottonelle TP
Greenworks cleaner but that's because its the only brand I can use without gloves, everything else I have a reaction to
Purex laundry detergent, again this is one of the few that I don't have a reaction to
Pampers diapers
Ivery bars of soap for DH
Kirkland lake wipes from Costco

I never thought of myself as a brand loyal person until I started to make this list.

I am with your DH on the tea thing. Red Rose is best but I also like the PC brand. DO NOT give me Tetley!!

I am brand loyal about some things (Dove soap, Sunlight dish detergent, Catelli Macaroni, Kleenex only). but not so much about others. DH is probably worse than me. I do like alot Of PC products but tend to avoid no-name products.

So funny how everyone has their preferences...Jessica, I can't STAND huggies wipes, I prefer their wipe holder for in the diaper bag, but I hate the actual wipes. I lost my last one a few weeks ago and had to buy a new one and just threw the wipes out and filled it with pampers ones lol.

How does that give it away!?

I've never liked any other baby wipes!

I'm not too picky on most things but some things have to be certain brands:

Heinz ketchup and chili sauce
Becel
Chipits (most often)
Bicks relish
Ziplock bags
Miracle Whip
Lays potato chips

Ohh, for sure chipits for baking...no name just isn't the same!

As I read all of these, I guess I am very brand loyal

I am brand loyal to J-cloths and I prefer Astro Yogurt. And if I get pickled herring (which isn't that often) it has to be the Feature brand.
