He is not a fan. He freaked out from 10-11:30 when I gave in. My goal was to get to 1am before feeding him...for this week. And feed him whenever the rest of the night. And then next week, cut out the ones in the 2nd half of the night. I'm ok with one throughout the night but the 4-5 we've got rocking right now is unnecessary.

Its a cool rainy day here today...cuddling up and watching TV!

I hope the renovations are over soon! I've never lived in a town house, but I can only imagine!

I'm sorry your DS didn't have a good night, and that you didn't get much sleep

It's crazy the amount of rain we've been getting lately! Although it's actually nice here today, it's supposed to rain again tomorrow..

At work, waiting for someone to pick something up. They were supposed to be here half an hour ago *sigh*

Very frustrating when when people aren't on time.

And we are fighting naps today. Awesome. Not cool!

Exactly! I think the same way! If I can drag my four kids out the door just to be somewhere on time, then you get yourself out the door on time (I know she doesn't have any kids, because DH knows this lady). Yeah, she still isn't here.

I hope he naps, Jess!

At least have the courtesy to call you.

He didn't sleep that great but he did sleep a bit. I'm bracing myself for tonight!

24 degrees tomorrow before humidex! Except rain and possible thunderstorms...I wanna be outside!

Hot sticky and thunder storming here. Not fun at all.

I'm tired and frustrated today. That's not a good combination. I've also discovered that we have a lot of tacos, hamburger helper and pasta to eat out of our cupboard. So much for healthy eating. I'm not moving it though so it's eat it or toss it.

Add cut up veggies to make it healthy! I started adding red peppers and asparagus to hamburger helper...its actually REALLY good! I add them for the last 3 minutes or so, so they are still crunchy (not mushy), and doesn't make the rest taste like veggies.

Tacos...like old el paso ones? We add lettuce, tomato and cheese...maybe add a larger portion of veggies to them?

Thunderstorming here too...we skipped Cam's bath and he went down relatively easy just now. We'll see how the rest of tonight goes. I'm thinking instead of trying to make it to 1am, make it to 10-10:30 when I go to bed. And then one other feed around 3ish. We'll see. I have to change it up because last night was agonizing. And I think maybe because he goes down shortly after dinner, his last nursing isn't a big one.

Way to Go!

Yeah the old el paso boxed ones, I have 3 boxes to use up. I've never added veggies to my hamburger helper, I keep seeing it on the commercial to add stuff but I never know what to add that will taste good.

We're only a few posts away from 400! We are going to get there this month ladies!!!

That is crazy!!!!

I only added them because they were going to go bad and I pulled out ground beef for dinner. It actually ended up REALLY good!

The tacos you can also do taco salad and break up the shells (if its the hard ones) to shake things up a bit. Also, we add catelina dressing to it...OMG, I find it just makes the salad not healthy but delicious!

I am so excited to hit 400...I think the only other time I've seen one of these hit this high is in a DDC...which are crazy busy to begin with.

Someone did that at a potluck I was at last week. Put all the taco fixings in a bowl, broke the shells up an threw them in and then poured dressing over it, but I wasn't sure what kind. It was red so I bet it was catelina. It was really good!

We're a group of chatty ladies this month!!

Yeah, I'm sad there's no signing up for the top 50 anymore, its just the top 50 boards in general...so even the ones that didn't sign up before will now be in there...and lots of them are busy boards, especially DDCs and new PRs.

But it is a better reflection of the real top 50. That's why we saw such a drop in April. But we were still top 20 which is crazy considering half of them are DDCs!

Bree that's exactly how we make it, except at the catelina in. We normally have it at my parents and I can always tell who made it...my dad goes overboard on the dressing while my mom is more health conscious lol.

This thread is the #1 hot topic right now on the homepage!!

If we keep this up, we'll be to 400 tonight and still have 3 more days to beat it

I'm now making taco salad for supper one night this week.

We rock!!!!!

I think I'm going to have to do taco salad as well...i was thinking tacos but maybe I'll do the salad. I have some avocados that need to be used though and I think it will be easier to put them in a salad rather than hiding them under the cheese like I have before

Yay for 400!!!!

How do you hide things in tacos? Don't you just put everything in bowls on the table and have everyone make their own?

I make the meat, and then spoon the meat in, then lettuce, then tomatoes, then avocados (if Cam is on an avocado strike lol), and then shredded cheese. Then I stick them in the oven at 400 for about 5-7 minutes to melt the cheese and warm the veggies and warm the shells. It also seems to intensify the seasoning in the beef I think too.

Ahhh! I'm post 400!!!!!
