Do you ever have wild animals visit your yard? Any that are more unusual?

Rabbits, squirrels, raccoons, and there has been 2 snakes

More unusual - deer, a fox, and 2 wild turkeys! Now that we have the fence up, I doubt we will get those anymore though

All we get at this house are squirrels, raccoons and skunks. At our old house we used to get turkeys eating out of our bird feeder. They were pretty cool, but man can those things eat!

We plan to put some birdfeeders up now that we have the fence. My parents live 2 min away and they have one and get blue jays, cardinals...really colourful pretty ones! I'd love the same for my yard!

Yikes! I wouldn't be going outside at night!

My parents get the typical racoons and skunks, squirrels and an assortment of birds but also see a few opossums and some fox each year. Deer usually stay back in the woods and you can occasionally hear coyote in the distance but don't see them near the house.

We can hear coyotes all the time, but so far none in our yard thank goodness!

We had a black bear a couple weeks ago. Our neighbours has one this last weekend so it is still around.

Lots of raccoons in our area too plus the usual squirrels and chipmunks. We also get bunnies and deer (not as many since we got the dog). Grouse and wild turkeys are sometimes seen.

We have seen some evidence of fishers and coyotes (plus we hear the coyotes) and there is a skunk who has dug up my side yard.

We've had moose, coyotes, bears, and then there's the squirrels and raccoons, and we have a family of deer in the back field almost every day.

This is very cool to me, I've never seen a live moose before in my life and yet some of you have them on your property! I want to see a moose!

I would love to see a moose!!!! DH sees them occasionally when he goes out East. They definitely aren't located in Southwestern Ontario!

Isn't that the truth. Nothing good is in Southern Ontario. Smog, that's it.

They're everywhere out here! Cool when you see them in the fields and woods, not so cool when they're blocking the road!

Ontario is SUPER boring. Both ways would be much more interesting!

I agree, there's nothing exciting about this province. There's white squirrels in Exeter that you don't see anywhere else, that's about it. I haven't been to Exeter to see the since I was a kid though.

Isn't that an exciting trip, look kids we're going to see squirrels!
