I'm glad it went okay!

Got the kids all tucked in bed, now I need to wash some dishes and fold some laundry. Then I might curl up in bed and read

I did my run this evening with the dog...my route is a big circle (about 2.8km) and then a smaller circle cutting through part of the subdivision (about 1.8km). I have to go past our street...and the dog was SOOOOOO upset she didn't get to go home that I had to drag her half the way in the smaller circle LOL.

Yay for you time Chantelle...I am headed up to read in a bit as well

Congratulations!

FYI - I hate assembling kitchen cabinets. I have blisters on my hands from the screwdriver.

Happy news of the night - we have a moving truck booked for Tuesday then we're here to stay! Now if I could only sell the other house.

Exciting! I hope it sells soon!

I really need to go to sleep, but I'm so enjoying how quiet the house is right now!

I should be sleeping too. No one has curtains on their bedroom yet so I know it's going to be an early morning.

Another crazy busy day here. Tomorrow morning Rogan goes in for surgery on his teeth. If you are the praying kind, I would appreciate some our way tomorrow.

Oh boy, teeth surgery cannot be fun. Hope it goes smoothly.

I'm having one extracted July 9 and am dreading it.

I spent the morning cleaning today. We still haven none of our furniture here yet but I'm trying to make this place look more like a home than just a house.

This morning I tried to cook mac and cheese for the kids, then I realized I had no utensils to stir or serve with. I ended up using a plastic fork.

I should finish painting our bedroom but I have no energy left at all.

Sounds like you had a productive day, Caroline!

I'm cleaning like crazy today too trying to get things in order for Sophia's birthday party!

You have good reason to be tired Caroline!!!! Hope you get a good night's sleep.

Hope Sophia's party goes well!!!

Here's what happened the other end of town today: Kitchener gets washed out | 570News

Nothing like out West, but still pretty crazy for here! It receded after about 3 hours but caused a lot of havoc!

Wow, that's crazy! Must have been some heavy rain!

DH is baking cakes now, we have two to do this weekend. Sophia's birthday and one for my best friend's man (she asked us to do it). He bakes, I decorate

That's not far from my friend's house. She left for the trailer this morning though so she hasn't actually seen if there's any damage at her place yet. She's had water in her basement a few times in the past so she's slightly worried.

I got up the energy to do the second coat on the bedroom. Just need to do the second coat on the closet now. I also only have one kitchen cabinet left to assemble. I'm going to do that tonight after the kids go to bed. Our tub surround is now installed and the caulking around it is drying. In two days I should be able to have a shower here!!!

I know some people have had damage, but most of it wasn't severe. Hope her place is ok! I was thinking of going out there today, so glad I didn't! People's cars in the mall parking lot were worse than other places.

Got my puppy a new wubba today...it squeaks...sooooo annoying! So I've deemed it an outside toy!

Hopefully going to test drive some new-to-me vehicles tomorrow!

Oh have fun test driving!

I gave up on the kitchen cabinet, I'll do it in the morning. I also have to grocery shop some time tomorrow. I haven't shopped, other than the necessities of milk and bread for a few weeks now so it's time.

Did you use up most things in your cupboard to reduce moving them?

What a blah day here. Overcast. No fun!

We ate most of it. I large deep freezer is completely empty and has been since the beginning of the month, our fridge only has condiments left in it, and I have 1 maybe 2 small boxes of dry groceries to bring to this house. Now my baking cupboards on the other hand are full! I didn't manage to use up all my flour, sugar, icing sugar, etc etc etc.
