Oh my! That sounds scary!! I've never done Relay for Life but have some friends that do it.

HOLY COW. Cam slept from 10-4 last night I, of course woke up at 1:45 and was up for about 15-20 minutes assuming he was going to wake any minute. He did stir and cry out, but settled himself. AMAZING! So rather than cutting out his first feed, Caroline, you reminded me he goes down so soon after dinner so his nursing session before I put him down he really doesn't take much, its more for comfort. So he really is hungry around 10ish. And I'm up anyways still so we'll keep that feed for now. And then one early morning one (4ish is ok with me). So if he wakes earlier than that, I am going to try and settle him without nursing if he doesn't settle himself. Fingers crossed!

Off to the baby shower soon. One of our friends coming had a baby girl May 7...so stinkin excited to meet her! And I'll have Cam. And one of our friend's can't make it...she is due in July but is on strict bedrest (and has been for almost 2 months now), but it will still be fun.

Have fun!

Making homemade chicken wings for supper tonight, hopefully they turn out!

Today is bittersweet, DH goes back to full time shift work tomorrow and while the extra money is nice, it's going to suck.

Let us know how the wings turnout! Boo for your DH going back fulltime.

The shower was great! But it went longer than I thought it would and I had Cam with me, so he had a 25 min nap this afternoon instead of 1.5-2 hours...so he's been in bed for like 15 min already and was out before I laid him in his crib...no idea how tonight is going to go.

I agree with nothing good being on tv tonight. I need to do my challenge for the night and head to bed as well. I just need a kick in the butt to do it because I have no energy at all. The neighbours are hosting band practice which is the only reason I'm not already in bed.

Morning ladies!

I am now doing an ab and squat challenge for June....I was going to do days 1 and 2 yesterday and ended up just going to bed...now have to do 3 days worth today!

Its our 2nd last swimming class today. I'm sad since its fun and he enjoys it but glad because I have to cut short his nap and its half an hour but in reality takes over an hour with changing etc.

I'm behind too, Jess, I did the first day but missed yesterday!

DH's first day back went well, but he's she tired tonight! I missed him being here to entertain yes kids while I got things done too, but managed to have a productive day nonetheless.

Glad he had a mostly good day! Hope things get easier

So we had Swiss Chalet for dinner. I had breakfast and everything was fine, I went upstairs to grab a drink and ants were coming out from under the stove. EWWW. So I sprayed all around and couldn't move the stove till DH got home to do it, so we went out for dinner. I really hope this is the end of the ants...we still can't figure out where they were getting in.

Ants are really bad this year. We even ended up with some in our upstairs bathroom. I have no idea how they ended up there. I found some good ant traps that I've been sticking under the edge of the counters, fridge and stove that has taken care of them for us.

What kind did you get? DH got some from work and he works in haz waste...how can they not be gone?!? We've had 4 outbreaks, all along the same wall but in different spots. He's taken out all the trim along that wall and now moved the stove and even the dishwasher (nothing there). Ugh. I want to be able to let Cam go on the floor in the kitchen without freaking out.

I just bought the little black ones from the hardware store. Raid brand I think, they come 4 in a package. I can't remember now if they were in a green package or a blue one, but I know they weren't the red package.

Looking at the website I think it was the green package of ant traps.
