Did you Breast feed?
For how long?
In public?
Covered or uncovered?
Did you ever receive negative feed back about any aspect of breastfeeding?

How old are your babies? 10 months
Did you Breast feed? Yes
For how long? Still going strong...when I go back to work we will day wean to homo milk, but I'm ok to keep going evenings, 1st thing in the morning, and once overnight for as long as he needs
In public? occasionally, but usually facing a wall/corner...he's very curious and I had to hold his attention
Covered or uncovered? uncovered because he would have nothing to do with a cover
Did you ever receive negative feed back about any aspect of breastfeeding? Nope, most people admire that we're still going and I've inspired several friends to as well

How old are your babies? 10,7,4and 2
Did you Breast feed? yes all 4
For how long? for the year usually. I had a harder time feeding the 2 that could not have milk. I found my supply was hard to keep up and I had to go off milk products

In public? yes
Covered or uncovered? depended on the kid
Did you ever receive negative feed back about any aspect of breastfeeding? I did once with DD#1 when I was feeding in the middle of the mall. A old lady kind of frowned at me.

Did you Breast feed? Tried with them both, but gave up
For how long? 7 days with my first, and 3 days with my second

In public? No never got that far
Covered or uncovered? n/a
Did you ever receive negative feed back about any aspect of breastfeeding? I didn't have a lot of support around me to even breastfeed, DH was fully on board with what I wanted, but the grandparents all thought it was dumb and why not just feed them formula, its what its made for!

Hugs Jessica - don't beat yourself up. I was able to keep up with it because my mom supported me and I have a really good friend who nursed for 3 years and gave me tons of tips.

Did you Breast feed? I tried, I seemed to produce a massive amount of milk for the first 3-4 months then I had nothing. As in I could nurse and then pump 10oz for the first few months, but then suddenly in the matter of a couple of weeks my babies were losing weight and I could pump nothing.
For how long? Between 4 and 6 months for all of them, then used the frozen pumped milk that I stored getting them to the 6 months or a little longer.
In public? When I needed to but I'd try to find a quiet spot
Covered or uncovered? With my first covered, by my third I didn't care anymore and was uncovered
Did you ever receive negative feed back about any aspect of breastfeeding? Nothing really negative, my Dad told me he was uncomfortable watching his "little girl" breastfeed, and my doctor was completely unsupportive when I lost my supply telling me I gave them a good start as she handed me a can of formula.

I'm sad to read about the unsupportive ones. Its one thing when you chose to do the formula route, but if you chose the breastfeeding one and are forced the other route, I've seen it cause problems with the moms' emotions. My hospital is the third in Ontario to receive the ''Baby-Friendly Hospital designation. Awarded to health facilities that meet the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding outlined by the WHO and UNICEF, the initiative provides education and support for women to start and continue breastfeeding their babies.'' so I was very lucky. They push it like crazy here...but I think sometimes they can go too far.
