Cleaning never ends! I have a friend who's favourite saying is "Cleaning the house while the children are growing is like shoveling the walk while it's still snowing" I want to find a sign for my front entrance way that says that.
haha I've heard the saying cleaning with children is like eating oreos while brushing your teeth.
We will be in the car for 5+ hours on Saturday heading to a friend's cabin, then spending the night in the city (makes more sense somehow with the baby... ugh) and visiting friends on Sunday while watching the Bombers lose
I am ignoring my "to-do" list which has become a mile long, and going camping in my brother's yard, like we do every May and September long weekend. The kids have a blast together and the adults have fun too.
The girls just asked Grandma (my mom) if they could have one final sleepover with her before school starts, my mom agreed to let them come over Sunday into Monday. I'm going to get a mostly child free night Sunday!
