We eat out a lot when we are traveling back and forth to different cities etc, because there isn't much near us.
We try to go in, it's becoming more challenging because Arthur isn't quite old enough to sit in a highchair, but we don't have an infant seat for him, so he's a lap baby. He is extremely well behaved though, and i hope that his exposure to eating out will help him be a well behaved kid in those settings... who knows though.
We used to eat out a lot more than we do now. It used to be at least 2 days a week, now there's nothing near us, so short of driving 30+ minutes for a meal, we eat at home. I'd say we bring something home to eat once every other week or so now and if we're actually going to eat out we make it a nice sit down meal.
The kids are pretty well behaved in restaurants. I always have little books and some dinky cars in my purse though to entertain them when they start to get bored if the meal runs long.
we dont eat out that often, maybe 1-2 times a month. We prefer to go to a sit down place, but with 3 little boys that isnt always an option, lately when we do eat out its been grabbing something quick after grocery shopping or running an errand in the evening
