Yup, I'm going there. Its forecasted that we get about 1cm of SNOW this Friday.

When does your area normally get it?

It has already snowed here a couple of times. But nothing has stuck. More snow called for today though. This is what I would consider normal. Snow by Halloween is what I remember growing up.

Last year we had a bad storm Oct 5. So this is an improvement on that!

We sometimes get flurries in Oct/Nov, but definitely nothing that stays on the ground. Even December is touch and go. January/February is when we get the most.

We usually get heavy snow starting on late November/early December, but we do get snow a lot of years in late October or early November, just not usually a lot of it.

Yesterday we got enough that DH had to brush off the car when he left for work last night. This is the earliest we've had snow in a long time.

I parked in the garage last year (and can't this year because Cam's seat is behind the passenger seat now). DH took my snowbrush since he needed a new one and I didn't use it.

Well, he never replaced it. I had to let the car warm up for an extra 7-8 minutes because I had nothing to scrape with this morning!

And good thing I parked underground at work, since it snowed several times during the day and I couldn't exactly stop at Canadian Tire and get a snowbrush on my way to work

I drove home from ringette in the snow last night. Not fun! I was thankful for covered parking at the arena.
