I really need to head out to Cambridge more often, I just hate the 401 2 more weeks of work. I can do this. The back pain is really getting to me though, my midwife is recommending a chiro, so I'm going to give it a shot. I hope it helps.

I did chiro for the first time back in December and it really helped. I would also recommend massage, if you have benefits for it. I did it in my third semester and it was super relaxing. It'll be extra hard to find time for it once the new baby arrives.

Definitely get in for the maternity massage if you can. I went for a couple while I was pregnant and it was so nice. It's even better if they have the tables made for it because they have a hole for your belly so you can lay on your tummy and have a nice massage. I hope you find the time to use your gift certificate.

I was going to use up all my massage benefits in my 3rd trimester until my massage therapist told me that a lot of her clients come to her with a lot of pain and tension after giving birth. I'm glad I listened to her because my back pain was so much worse after I had my son... all that bending and lifting really did a number on my shoulders, arms, and back.

Yeah they haven't called me back and it was Thursday?? Not cool! I'll call again today and if not, my friend has a recommendation who knows the webster technique that she went to so I'll go there instead if they don't get back to me...I'm running out of time! The same friend also said she went 3 days after giving birth and it was the best thing she could have done. I'll have to keep that in mind

So I go see the chiro tomorrow morning!!!! yay!!!!Still need to book a maternity massage....this weekend is too busy, maybe the weekend after, we'll see! This place does have the special maternity tables, I can't wait!!!!Yup, 37 weeks....its flying by for me too, I feel like I just POAS'd...I'm still hoping for an April baby because as of April 1, I won't lose any of my vacation if I go on mat leave (dumb policies here, they won't pay it out).

Watching this storm from my window this afternoon. Wow, so lucky DH and I don't have to be anywhere today. I've got enough food to make sure I don't have to make a trek to the grocery store for the next couple of days (pushing the stroller in the snow is NOT fun, especially since I don't have a car). My tortilla soup has been simmering in my slow cooker all day and we're all sitting here watching Sesame Street together. lol

I've been trying to get Marcos to crawl but he's so lazy! I hold a toy a few feet away from him and he tries to move forward to reach it, kicks his legs around, ends up going backwards instead of forwards, then lets his head down and cries out of frustration. He's turning 8 months on Monday so I can't imagine it'll be much longer.

careful jess, if you wait too many more weekends to get your massage the baby will be here before you get it i bet marcos will get it soon! maybe he will be one of those kids who skips crawling and just walks instead

You might want to check out Loblaws. They're selling the large Huggies cases for $29.99 which is the cheapest I've ever seen them (although I think they only start at size 1?).

I never really like the baby dry, swaddlers for NB to size 2 and then cruisers for size 3 and 4....Cam is still in size 4s. Holy crap, 19 days till my due date!

You're telling me!Had my home appt with my midwife last night, so now she knows how to get to our house everything looks great, baby can come at any time. He/she still has their back up against my right side but hoping he/she will turn either before or in labour, my midwife will help (want their back against my left side). Chiro is amazing. Wish I had started it earlier!3 more days of work, a wedding this weekend, and going to see Divergent on Monday. And then hoping to spend some time with Cam...then baby can come
