In Alberta, we had to get a marriage, well.. like a pre-marriage certificate from the registry. (I remember it being like $30.) They then gave us a list of all the GP's in the Calgary area.

Congradulations girl!

thanks , I have looked up marriage licensing and it's like $114 for the marriage license -- I just don't know who I would have to call to make the plans or where it would be done and also how far ahead I have to make the plans.

Btw ; what's a GP?? I know dumb question

Nope it doesnt need to be all out. You can even get some ministers to come to your house LOL.
We called a minister who met us at the military base (in Kingston, ON) and she came and there was just a few of us. You just need to give them your marriage license
