Okay so nobody has heard of Javex on the forums i talk on .. so i figure it must be a Canadian item , LOL so i have to ask the question here ...
Okay this might be a dumb question but here i go. I want to wash the floors but i want to use Javex ( i heard of this before ) to get them really clean. How much Javex do I add to the water? And is it safe to wash my floors with this , i mean will the smell be to strong for my kids to smell ( I have a 5 month old and a 2 year old. ) Also do I have to rinse the floors or something after i wash them with Javex,, because if the babys toys are on the floor and then shes playing with them is that bad? Sorry i just really dont know how to do this.. i want the fresh clean smell and to know the floors are clean lol. Please anyone!
My MIL uses bleach on the floors.. ((Will bite my tongue on why I think that has contributed to his allergies)) but the long term effects of using bleach on the floors is it wrecks the protective coating.. If you don't do it constantly after, because the protective coating is gone, the floors look dirty really quick.
I use bleach to clean everything. The general rule is a cupful to every 2 cups of water. I clean plastic toys by filling the tub with hot water & bleach then adding the toys. I wash my floors with bleach every so often as well.
