I tested Friday morning and got the positive.. I went to the doctor's this morning. She didn't even do another test ~ said that one was good enough! She said "you are pregnant" and dh was there to witness it! So she gave me some sheets to get some blood work done so I'm off tomorrow morning to get that done. She said at 10 weeks (around Dec. 20th for me) that they do a complete pre-natal check up and then I go once a month after that. At 6 months, I get transferred to the Ob group of doctors where I'll be delivering because regular doctor's don't deliver... So that's it for now.
Does it just feel like FOREVER??? I remember those first days of not knowing what the heck I was in for.. What an exciting time for you Michelle!! I'm soo looking forward to reading about what you are going through.. I miss it so much!!
Enjoy yourself! ( as much as your hormones will possibly allow anyway ) lol
Our boy, James!! Born February 18, 2006!! xoxoxoxox
I emailed from my work address.. I hope to have good ones from the midwife when I get to work on Monday... I think a midwife could be helpful in feeling like the system isn't so disconnected.. Hopefully I'll gain confidence for the big day of delivery then the newborn phase, etc..
I'm soooooo happy for you! And super excited! I can't wait until you get to see and hear that little one's heartbeat, I was completely in awe!!!
