No idea where you can have one done. I am not interested in one. I have a friend who lives in Edmonton that had one though, so there are available there. It was covered under health care as her midwife ordered it.

What is the diff b/w 3D and 4D. I was telling some of my friends about it and they didn't believe me there was such a thing as 4D. I told them I heard of it numerous times on JM.

Hi there,

It is called Canada Diagnostic in Calgary. It does not cost anything, you just have to get your doctor to book your ultrasound there. (Probably if you live in this area anyways). I live in High River and I am getting mine done there!! You have to pay 20$ for the CD but the ultrasound is just your normal one. there is also a place called Ultrasound Preview in Calgary where you prop yourself on a big lounge like a queen and the lady shows you with dolls how big the baby is and how it is lying in your belly. It is not 4D but you get lots of pics and she'll tell you the sex etc. It is about 100$ but lots of fun!

4d is just the video , so you see movement not just a 3dimensional image....so the 4 d is the live movement, 3d is the still images

I think more and more Drs are starting to replace their machines with 3D. I don't think the keepsake ultrasound phenomenon has caught on in Canada.
