This is a major issue as people rely on gas. Can you say "Recession"? I really hope we don't go into one but if things keep going this way it does not look good for the economy.

We are still at 98.9 but it will probably go up with the rest of the country with in a day or so (I am in central alberta). It sucks when we rely on gas for everything we have to pay it, it is the ultimate grab from the oil companies, government whom ever, but I need gas to get to work because it is in another city, and living in our town is cheaper than moving to the city.

Royally screwed I tell ya!!

I don't really remember the last recession, what were some of the consequences?

Here is so info on recessions

Part of the problem is that businesses that rely highly on gas for things will have issues with production etc which can cause lay offs, which spiral affects a lot of other things.

Unbelievable! In a month, it has cost us $55 more to fill our tank than it did last month! When is it gonna stop! <whine>
