No I haven't heard it on the radio but DH said he was listening to the morning show on the way to work and they were talking about it.

Mine either... This was one of favorite songs bu the Hip and now I think it will be lost because now it would be too insensitive. Am I alone?

He said they were not playing it out of respect. It is one of the Hip's more popular songs off the Up to Here album. I am a huge fan of the "old school" Hip. Not much for their new stuff and Gord keeps getting crazier I swear LOL they were a very good concert to see.

I went a Hip concert once - Loved it! Gordie has become a little "folky" for me as well. I can't justify the cost of a ticket to our folk festival either... sorry!

My dad couldn't stop singing it when we were at the cottage last weekend... He would sing "New Orleans and sinking ___ (i can't remember the lyric) and I don't wanna swim" then I would add in the "SWIM!" part!

I hope you got what I meant ! and yeah, it would be insensitive for a radio station to play it now...
