Wondering if anyone had any Fall traditions, not counting Halloween .
I'm curious to find out if we are alike across Canada or very different.
We usually go for a drive in the woods to see the leaves change and to pick Cranberries. This year will be year #5 that we've went and has become a tradition. No trip has ever had the same people go, we tend to pick people up as the years go by.
We've never went to an apple orchard but I would like that to become a new tradition. There is a spot about 20 min. from us down the shore. We didn't make it last year.
I believe--That you should always leave loved ones with loving words.
It may be the last time you see them.
Not really any here, but I love pumpkin pie and as soon as it comes out I eat it until you can't buy it anymore LOL and I love when all the halloween stuff comes out (just has here) something about the smell

Mmmmmmm, pumkin pie! (I wish they had a drooling emoticon...) I also love halloween That gives me an idea for a post...
There isn't really anything for us to do. Not alot of trees around, no apple(or other fruit that's still ripe) trees, no pumpkin patches, nada.
Thanksgiving, harvest and halloween are my favorite parts of fall. At Thanksgiving I try to use as much homegrown stuff as I can. We're doing all of our yardwork the week before Thanksgiving and if the weather keeps as it is we'll be harvesting the garden that week too.
I'd love to make cornhusk dolls and decorations with the girls.
Here 2 weeks before thanksgiving i decorate in a fall theme.
Then the weekend of thanksgiving we go out to a farm area (we dont know where this year as were new) and hopefully see some nice leaves, and get a pumpkin.
