She was born on Easter Sunday. She has had multiple surgeries. Right now she needs a double transplant, liver and bowels. I have only seen her thru photos.
Her Mom (my niece - Echo) is out there with her.

I am sorry to hear she isn't well. Which hospital is she in? Isn't there one of those hospitals in each major city? Like the Stollery in Edmonton is one, isn't it?

I hope that things go well for her and she gets to go home soon.

That's good to hear.
They have been thru so much. One minute she's doing good the next they have us worried to death.
I can't imagine what it must be like.

Oh that's heart wrenching... I sure hope everyone can pull through - it's so tough.

My brother was in a Jet-sky accident and ended up at the Children's Hospital in Calgary. I can't think of a better place for kids. The doctors are the best and the facilities are fabulous. These places are always in my heart!

Hospital for Sick Children (sick kids) is one of the top best hospitals world wide for pediatric care. Sorry to hear all that she is going through - but she is in amazing hands! My son goes there to see a geneticist, and also to see his neurosurgeon.
I work with special needs children - and I go there a lot to see them during surgeries etc, and Ive never seen any bad experience with the hospital!

Kayleigh has a 65% chance of making it to her 1st birthday. She just turned 6 mo.

She has an infection and has to wait til it's gone before moving to another floor and to add to the problem, as if a double transplant isnt' enough she has a rare blood type.

Poor thing.
