Is there anything that you do that you would consider thrifty?

I am a HUGE coupon clipper and I always stock up if something is on sale!

I use some coupons but I find I don't get a lot. I also will buy second hand clothing for the kids sometimes.

I always try to find deals on clothes. Example: Hubby wanted me to buy him hoodies so last night I went shopping for them. I know he likes really nice brand name stuff so I went to the sports store in the mall and got him a $70 Bauer one. It was really really nice. But then since there is a Hangers store right next door, I went to look there too. And guess what? I found a Sketchers brand one for $15 and another green one for $5 that I should have bought (I'm gonna go back for the $5 one). Guess which one fit and he liked best? Yup, the cheap one. So I am so getting my $70 back for the first one!

Clothes for myself I always try to buy off the clearance racks at either Walmart or Giant Tiger. For the kids, I can usually find good things on clearance at Walmart or Superstore.

Most of the clothing that I buy is used.
