I'm crying reading this!! I am so glad you are getting him back or I would have felt the need to drive over to wherever you are and adopt a 5th cat to go int his already crazy cat house!!

We used to have problems with one of our cat, where he would pee everywhere... he has not peed since I have stopped working.. obviously he is a very needy cat!! He has also scratched DD a few times... but she deserved it both times and as it was just a scratch on the hand (which she was using to pull his tail over and over again while laughing like a maniac) I can't help but think it is a great learning experience for her. She is 20 mths old and she should be bale to understand to be gentle with the kitties soon!

Hopefully you can update us with Zao's home coming so we can now cry tears of happiness!!

Oh I'm not accusing you of anything... I understood from your post how sad you were but I am so happy you took the decision to get him back...

I've been so frustrated with some of my cats on some days that I have really considered getting rid of them.. but at the end of the day I guess they are part of the family and I decided I had to put up with family no matter how stressed out it made me... and things are getting better with them so that helps alot

I'm glad you got him back. I cant believe anyone would accuse you of killing your cat.....Taking an animal to the Humane Society gives an animal a chance to be adopted by a family. Not like you drove out to the country and dropped it off. To me, thats killing an animal because domesticated animals cant fend for themselves. You did the right thing.

We've also decided that when our cat DOES die, we will adopt one from the humane society instead of buying one.[/b]
What a great idea.
