I haven't really been all that happy with my part time job. I finally figured out that it is the fact that I am away from my family and I have to work on the weekends a lot. I know once the nice weather hits and I am stuck at work while the three of them are enjoying the weather will bum me out even more.

So my big decision is..........................

I want to open my own home daycare. I would probably only need to take one full time kid but I would take more if the opportunity arises. Sydney will start JK in September and go half days so I am going to contact the school she is going to go to and see if they have a list of home daycare providers that they hand out to parents. I think that would be a great way to get my name out.

I am also going to advertise on local websites.

So I am hoping by September I can have a couple of children!!!!

Wow, good for you! You will be able to be home all the time! And one or two kids doesn't sound like it would be very stressful. Good luck!

That is so great o know Jen! When you are up and running you will have to give me your specifics!
We don't need daycare for awhile and may not need to later when I go back to work (I work afternoons, DH days) but I always like to have some options.

I will definitely let you know Jen! Even if you needed care every once and a while I can do that as well. I understand what you mean about options. They are always good to have.

That's great!

I think you will probably love it.. especially if it's just with a couple of kids!

I plan on maybe doing the same thing after we get in a routine once Delilah is born! We plan on seeing how things go financially, but chances are I will be looking at doing it too!

Go to your local Early Years Center. They have a binder with a list of child care providers in certain catchment areas. You can add yours to it too, that way if you're looking or others are looking, they can take a sheet of paper home and call from there.[/b]
Brandi thanks for tip. I love how so many people have different ideas! I love you girls!!!!
