Welcome to the Healthy Mommas Club!

This subforum is dedicated to your diet and weight goals. The idea is for us all to be held accountable to someone for our goals, to encourage and push each other to continue to make healthy choices for ourselves and our families. So... with that said.

Post your goals here, then of course update your post as your goals change. Every month we can check in with how our goals are progressing, what did did right....and where we cheated.

Initial Goal: to lose 30 pounds and be where I was 2 years ago

Dream Goal: to lose 50 pounds and be a MILF

What am I doing? Right now I am trying to focus on portion control and reducing my overall calorie intake. With three kids and a household to run it is hard to not stay active. But I do need to try to do at least 10 minutes a day of exercise related.

June's goal is to continue sensible exercise until I have this baby, spend all of a week off my feet, not exercise until bleeding as completely stopped.

Right now I'm doing 30 to 50 minutes cardio three days per week, prenatal yoga three days per week, and stretching every day.

Diet-wise, I do really well at home.. not so good at work. Need to refocus again on eliminating sugar.

My Target Goal is to loose 50 pounds.

My start goal is to loose 10 pounds and go from there.

I'm starting with portion control, drinking more water and walking.

Current goal : drinking lots of water and continue eating pretty well..
Also want to take daily walks, and exercise more.. I have 2 kids to look after but would enjoy working out by myself!

Big goal not to gain more than 35 lbs this pregnancy!

Initial Goal: Lose 15 pounds by my birthday (August 30th).

Dream Goal: Lose 45 pounds (120) by next summer.

What I'm Doing Right Now: Just starting. Want to try to get a better diet and start working out at least 3 times a week, and walking everyday.

My Initial Goal WAS: to lose 15 pounds by my birthday. I have massively fallen behind, but am starting on a more strict schedule on Monday. I'm making sure I make time to work out and get things done.

My Updated Goal: to lose 15 pounds by Xander's birthday (12/20)

What I'm Doing Now: I set a schedule for myself. It's going to really wear me out the first week, but once I get the hang of things it will help a lot.

3:30am - wake up, work out
4:30am - shower
5:15am - leave for work
6pm -dinner
8pm - xander's bath
8:30pm - stroller walk
9pm - xander's bedtime

I will probably be out by 9 with this too, since it's such a long day. If I can pull it off, it will definitely be worth the adjustment.

Aside from that, I've started taking my lunch to work so I can control more of what I eat. I let myself "eat out" for lunch once a week if my budget allows it. I'm hoping this will make a big difference for me!
