is everybody avoiding this forum on purpose????

August is almost half over. What were your goals for this month? (August!) How is it going? What are you going to do to stay/get on track?

me. i really am. I have been terrible the past few weeks. I have an appointment with the dietician in Sept and i am using it as an excuse to avoid doing any work on myself until then.
But being totally honest, i feel like poop. I am even more tired than usual, my skin is breaking out, i have cramps and pains everywhere and i feel fat and unattractive.

So i am going to make more of an effort from now until my appointment. I want to show the doctor that i am willing and i am committed.

Robyn, I hope your appt. proves helpful. In the meantime, maybe there are some small and easy changes you can make to help you feel better. It is so hard to eat well, and the modern environment is so toxic- it's no wonder most of us feel like poop most of the time.

As for my August goals, I think I'm doing okay. With houseguests this last week I didn't get any exercise in between Sunday and yesterday. I actually ate better than normal this week. It is so much easier for me to control my portions when I'm around people other than DH and the kids!

i totally agree with you! its quite difficult to be healthy these days. everything is so loaded with additives, even when you think you are being healthy you really arent. I'm one of the lucky ones, i have one child and i dont work outside the home so i have plenty of time to cook from scratch, but the working moms or moms with a few kids at home dont have that kinda time, yet its so hard to find healthy meals to feed your family.

i know what you mean about being able to control your portions when people are watching!

I have been staying on track! I've just been so darned busy! LMAO... I'm sorry!

Although I think I need to step up my exercise, I've hit a plateau!!!
