whatever you call it, I'm through with it. I was a Dr. Pepper girl... 2 liters or more a day. When I wanted to quit I started buying it in cans- the expense encouraged me to cut down. Lately (the last few months) I've had one can every once in a while. But I really want to stop drinking it altogether. I know it is unhealthy... actually, I believe it is toxic. And if somebody told you that what you're drinking is poisonous, you wouldn't just drink it slower- you would stop immediately!

So, anyway, I figured the last time I had a can of Dr. Pepper was Tuesday, so I created a ticker to count my soda-free days starting Wednesday. It will give me some accountability... I'm finally serious about eliminating this stuff from my diet.

Good for you. I agree, I hate the stuff. For me I reason as such a waste of calories. I will occasionally have a fountain Coke. But just think of all you could eat with those 120 some calories! And 2 liters a day!!!!!! WOWSERS! You will see some weight come off with that change, for sure!

Good for you! I hate the bubbles in carbonated beverages but still have a root beer when I go out to eat sometimes.
