Here I am. I feel awful. My body hurts. I don't even know where to begin. I just did the 1st exercises on my new Hab It DVD (for pelvic floor strengthen). It felt really good to do something. I know on a lot of days my body hurts so much that even walking would seem like too much... but I have to do it. I have to break out of this. It is not that I am unhappy with the way that I look, it is that I am unhappy with the way that I feel. If exercises can help me feel like a normal human again I am going for it... screw you arthritis!

Exercise is supposed to be great for arthritis. You may hurt for a few days starting out, but the end result will probably be worth it. Hang in there Whitney.

Hey Whitney, I have found that most of the time exercise helps my sciatica.. and when it doesn't, well... I tell myself I can either be active and in pain or just in pain. I choose to be active.

Your OP is like a week old... how have you been doing?

I have been doing decent. For the most part my back is feeling okay but my main complaint the past week has been my darn leg. Anytime I stand or walk it feels like someone is twisting the muscles in the back of my leg . I've tried stretches several times a day, as well as ice packs. I was supposed to see a chiropractor yesterday but ended up not being able to squeeze it in so I'll try for tomorrow. Today was such a nice day (finally) and I started to cry because all I wanted to do was pull weeds . I finally broke down and took an old percocet that I had from my tubal and it worked wonders!
