A little cheating is ok! It's better to cheat a little bit and stay on track then to stop trying altogether!

Then go ahead! One extra little something never killed you! Have a glass of chocolate milk. Get some calcium and a bit of chocolate. But follow the directions on the bottle! Be naughty but follow the rules of engagement! LOL

I did.

That's where logging really helps me- I can decide for sure whether I can "afford" that whatever it is. Tonight we're having homemade peach cobbler for dessert, and I can enjoy an entire portion of it b/c I've done my log for the day and know I have the calories to spare. I plan to enjoy it- guilt free!

This week I'm going to try getting up a little earlier to complete my running workouts before breakfast. On days I don't work, I'll have time for the other things I like to do later in the day. But I think that way I won't get too impatient waiting for the kids' school day to be done before I can have my exercise time. I get grumpy when I worry I won't have time.

happy Monday, ladies! Got my 2 miles in this morning, my pace was 10:25 in the second mile, which is pretty good for me. I still have to get faster, though, if I'm going to finish a 5K in under 30 minutes. We had homemade chicken soup for lunch, so yummy! I work tonight so I'm mentally prepping to avoid junk food. I'll take some dinner with me and raid the produce case if I need to.

I hope everybody is having a good day!

Hi ladies....time I jump in I suppose!

Whit, I'm totally getting a ticker like yours....I can put it out there, hold myself accountable!

I started using MyFitnessPal today so we'll see how that helps me with my calories in and calories out and how much I'm losing, etc. We shall see!!!

Hey, Jennifer... I'm on MFP, same user name. We can be buddies there, too.

I did good at work, then came home and had a big bowl of ice cream. Still under calorie goal, but wish I would have filled up on something more nutritious. Then as I'm turning out lights in the kitchen I remember "hey, we have cobbler left!" I got the better of that one, though, and didn't have any...

Good night, everybody!

Grr... I weighed in. No pounds lost I am disappointed but not discouraged. I am hoping it is all because I am building muscle back up. I can't be too upset because I do feel pretty darn good.

found you, Val.

Today was hard for me. I slept terrible last night and woke up feeling pretty rotten. Felt better after Aleve and coffee, though, and I stuck with my exercise plan. It wasn't easy, but I'm glad I did it!

Here's my idea, tell me what you would think. I want to open up a facility that is classes only. People would pay per class or with a package and I would find people to teach classes like yoga, pilates, kickboxing, boot camp style, zumba.....Would you ever consider a place like that?

That sounds great. Would the teachers volunteer or be paid?

I was think that if I do SAH once all my kiddos are in school (which I logically think is what will happen) I will try to join a gym and start some weight training. Now, that is at least 3 years away so IDK if it will happen . I just can't get to a gym now.

Jenn, does your Y have free babysitting? Just wondering how you get there so much! As I've said before, my Y blows!

Yeah, they have child watch that's included in your membership fee. I've learned the times when I can go and when I can't....cause they have a capacity that once they've reached it, no one else can come in. They also have an hour and a half time limit....which it doesn't seem like some people follow....boo on them!

Going to do a super sculpt class today....please pray for me! LOL
