Hi there

I generally lurk around here but I wanted to ask how many of you watch The Hoobs?

I actually first started watching it when I was 22, had glandular fever and was stuck in bed for a month. Then when my first daughter was born her second nighttime feed used to coincide with the show on channel 4 so I started watching it again. My second DD is 5 weeks old and, guess what? One of her feeds is also at Hoob time!

I had forgotten just how dodgy the programme was! I just wanted to know if any of you thought the same thing or whether I just have a really dirty mind? For example, in one of the episodes this morning there were characters in a story called Mr and Mrs Nob, and Roma Hoob said at various points in her segment "I don't have a lot of experience with nuts"/"I'm off to go and tighten some nuts..."

Those are just examples from this morning! Am I really the only one who thinks the Hoobs is more for us than for our kids??
