Im not sure what to suggest to help the itching subside, Maybe just invest in a good scratcher.

I hear you sister, My boobs are itchy also, and tired of being yanked on, emptied out, too full and drained again. I'm also tired of walking around some days with one full boob and one empty one, My boobs are ready to stop just being a all day buffet and I really want to go back wearing bras that don't snap open in front. Nursing is a beautiful thing and I'm really happy to have done it But... My youngest just turned one and I'm having a hard time weaning her off the mama papa, aaah!
