Yup... the title says it all. I have food poisoning. DH had a sore tummy & diarreah (sorry TMI) yesterday and we put it down to a Bombay Bad Boy Pot Noodle He always gets sore tummy after really spicy food. So we thought nothing of it, he moped about a bit but was fine by dinnertime.

I went to bed at 11 and had to get up at 1:30 with the most awful stomach cramps, I knew it was food poisoning related as I've had this twice before seriously bad and recognised the same pain type. Let's say I spent an hour on the loo, then went to the sofa - OMG the pain was something else. If contractions are like this, I'll be taking everything going!! No sickness, altho I thought I was going to be a few times. I'm too scared to eat now.

I've kinda just dozed since 6am and baby hasn't moved much My bump is rock hard constantly and has been since about 2am, like I've got a constant braxton, baby was moving fine at around 2am... wouldn't stop which was making my pain worse Do you think everything is ok with baby now though? I feel very paranoid

99% sure it's not labour. When I got up at 1:30, DH said the same, I said I dunno, not been in labour before but feels like something I ate... he said ok, rolled over & started snoring again

Baby is moving more now. The cramps are high up in my bump though so I doubt it's labour-related. Given my output and DHs sore tum/output, I am pretty sure it's food related. I made a pasta dish on Saturday, it had mozerella in it which went really stringy as I cooked it. My gut instinct was not to eat it but both of us did. I'm sure that's the cause, it's the only thing we've both eaten.

I feel out of sorts now though Hate being ill

I think it's passed or is passing now. I'm so hungry, but too scared to eat. Had half cuppa when I posted the first post here. REALLY want toast lol! Dunno if this has kicked started things, I feel slightly AF-y low down but it could just be this buggy thing too. Who knows!!!

That crossed my mind too Tracy but with the pains last night it was def food-related. I feel crampy again now but can't decipher if it's diarreah or AFy. Time will tell!!

Sorry to hear you and DH have been poorly. Thank goodness it was short lived though.

Cramps sound like things could be kicking off!! How exciting that the baby could be here soon!!!
