Today we had a little bit of a health scare on Stuís part:

We were in town having something to eat and he jsut started having palpitations really randomly, was light headed etc so I got him straight to the hospital because his family have a history of heart diseaseÖ it was terrfiying for us both, luckily we have a good friend who took us there, and everything is clear, they gave him an ECG and it came back clear but he has been referred on to a heart specialist to investigate further, and if anything more happens i take him straight back.

Iím hoping that its just a blip - as is he, but its great the health service are sorting it properly for us. Luckily everyone was really great and we had minimal stress other than the obvious. Thank goodness he is ok though!

Karen he naturally has realy low BP as it is, so we have to make sure hes eating properly and sleeping right and as more salt in his diet than usual but by the time we got there he felt much better and although his heart rate was a little elevated his ecg was clear, so we don't think its the low bp as he always has low bp x

Wow scarey !!! I have had heart things like that, but its only when I start thinking stupid things and end up paniking myself, if I stop and breathe slowly they go away, haven't had anything like that for months and months now so thinking it was a blip I went through!!!

due to their family history (Stu's mum died when he was 7 of heart issues) its gonig to be fully investigated... I'm glad the NHS have pulled their fingers out this time! It deffo wasn't a panic thing, as he had nothing to panic about. But palpitations are incredibly common with panic attacks xx

Yeah my first thought was panic attacks too,you don't have to be panicking to have one, despit the name, but Ellie even with low BP, It could have dropped too low resulting in the dizzy spell, is he on meds for his BP? My mum is as hers is low, Richie's the opposite, he has dangerously high BP despite being on numerous tablets for it.

no the docs jsut tell him to make sure he has a higher salt diet, and i doubt his bp was dropping as it had no reason to, we were eating at the time etc so its unlikely it was low blood sugar... its just weird, plus his blood pressure at the hospital was fine for him
