I feel really odd I've just washed & dried my hair - nothing unusual there, it's a daily occurrance. But I feel really shaky now, and my left hip & lower back hurt, but not "crampy" like AF?

Also baby is REALLY hurting when it moves its head. The pain is quite low down, kinda shoots through me. Not sure if baby is near a nerve, I get infrequent pain on the inside left thigh like I've almost pulled a muscle but it pops back in right before. And I'm getting wave-like pains similar to bowel pain.

Can anyone relate to this? Is something happening? I prob sound like a complete freak

I had planned to eat lunch whilst I sit & rest for 10 mins, and then go for a walk, but I'm a bit wary now? Any thoughts?

Wave-like pains is what I had. It might be the start of something. But then again, it might not. Hope it is, though! Walking will definitely help if it is. FC!

Fiona - it sound's to me like thing's are gearing up to happen for you!!! the day before I went into labour I had a lower back ache nothing too uncomfortable but I knew it was there as the day progressed I just didn't feel quite right and then that evening at 11pm I had my first contraction pretty painless really but I knew it was different to a braxton hicks, I decided to go to bed as like I said I just wasn't really myself (hard to explain) I woke up around 2am tossing and turning and had kinda aches/cramps but unlike AF they were still cramps, again hard to explain really, at 4am I woke up to a wave of pain in my tummy and POP my waters broke, I heard and felt the POP, I stood up out of bed and gush................LOL!!!! from that moment on I was having contractions 5 minutes apart, by 5am on the way to the hospital they were 2 mins apart and then at 6am they were lasting for 1 minute and 90 seconds apart.

Oh yes and Theo was really hurting me all day that day, he wasn't really moving all that much though but I just felt so Urrghh!!

baby could be pressing on a nerve but the wave like pains sound promising continue with ur planes fi if something is happening u have LOADS of time hun u will drive urself mad recording every niggle, ace an pain, and a short walk even if its just down the street an back or round the block will do u good fi its actually recommended in early labour!

I'm home! Walked for abour 20 mins, then around Lidl. DH picked me up as I had a few bits of shopping. The waves were quite intense as I walked, but it def feels more bowel-related, similar to the waves I had Sun/Mon with the food poisoning. So I dunno.

I'm gonna give it 2 hours, if I still have them I'll phone the midwfie to see what they think. I don't think it's labour - but then never been in labour so who am I to judge!! Tummy is rock hard constantly now, not just with my braxtons Bizarre!!
