Our friend came round and checked it over, he says it's deffo electrical I have wondered this all along as I did smell a horrible smell in the kitchen shortly before we noticed the machine had broke

Saw one on Comet online reduced by £50 so will prob go look at it tmor and see what it's like. Such a PITA but I can't go much longer without one. You don't realise how much you use it huh! I'm def going to try and be more disciplined and not leave all my washing til the weekends. Try and do a load each day or second day.
