last night maica slept in her own bed all night! I'm pretty sure its having a nap in the day thats makig her sleep better at night but i need to balance it so she actually goes to bed before 10.30!
and shes done 4 consecutive wees on the potty! (excluding the night nappy) i can't believe it! i've put knickers on her today to see if she can manage it with knickers too, shes just taken herself to sit on the potty without prompting or anything!!! its amazing! i didn't intend to potty train for ages but it looks like shes doing it anyway!!
 yay!

i am sooo jealous regarding potty training lol im thinking about just giving up with rhianna and starting again when she is closer to 3, she was doing ok now most of her wees are in her knickers or on the floor and poop that is a whole different story!!! i dont think its worth the stress to her or to me to force her to 'learn'

wow, sounds she is going great.
Sarah - Mia hit a wall when we 1st started and then she suddenly got better at it again, I think they like to test us to see if we're gonna stick to it.

WTG Maica!!!! That's fab Suzi! I would agree on the daytime nap, so often I hear that kids sleep better at night when they have napped well through the day. Kirsty... hmm, I'm not sure lol! It's hard for me to say as she has been wking due to teething for weeks now. However, this week mostly she has slept through.
Sarah, it's hard when they regress but she'll come forward again eventually. It's hard to contain your frustration though, I remember it when I nannied

WTG!
We tried to potty train Alyssa when she was 2 and she was having none of it, so we just stopped and went back to nappies, we tried again when she was 2 and 9 months and she was fantastic, barely ever had an accident. I think when they are ready to potty train they take to it and its easy, its when they aren't ready that's when problems arise.

WTG Maica! is she in a cot Suzi or her own bed?
I totally agree they will do it when they are ready, Ciara we tried at age 2 and she just got stressed so we put her back in nappies, at 2yrs 5 month she just took off her nappy and weed on the toilet herself - we never looked back, she was dry at night straightaway too. Jamie i didnt start till he was 3 - he just wasnt ready, all kids are different and the way i look at it is that they will all be trained when they go to school so whats the rush

since we moved to england, so about 2-3 weeksish, shes not in it every night yet some nights she sleeps with us, some she comes in halfway through etc
i guess its a little different for us as we've never had her in a cot so the novelty of escaping isn't there! we also stay with her til shes sleeping.
one night i did find her downstairs at 4am! scared the living daylights out of me!!! thankfully shes really good on the stairs or she could have fallen.
