I was a cheerleader in 8th grade and I'm a very shy person. I used to let it stop me enjoying time with my oldest when he was little. It's been a long road but I have made changes with Ethanael and Gabriella too. My husband is worse than me so we have been working on it together.

I am scared of the dark that's because i can see ghosts (not shadows but ghosts!! lol) i started seeing them at around the age of 13 (what i remember) i used to see a boy walking from room to room and sitting on the sofa and i described him to mum and she saw the same, there were some unpleasant ghosts aswell that used to scare the cr@p out of me at night in my room (even with the lamp on!!) ok thats turning into a novel now hahah...

I was a very very troubled teen, drink, drugs, me and and mates used to skip school and go and steal booze from the supermarket and get drunk, i used to slit my arms and be in a very dark place!! (all because of bullying though i must add) but if you met me now you would not even know how bad my teenage years were (depression wise) i am a totally changed person

I am a really emotional and moody person lol! I flip out over stupid little things and normally take it all out on Simon! And I don't like people very much, I only have a few close friends (and you JM girls of course!!) but I don't like to let people "close" to me.

Wow, some real interesting stories! Some of you girls really have been through a lot.

Before I met James I was with a very abusive partner. He cheated on me (more than once), put me in hospital with a broken collarbone and a broken nose, and mentally bullied me. I was young and naive so stayed with him for a lot longer than I should have.

The first time, I was around 4 or 5, and mum had taken my brother & I out for a walk, around the loch in my home village, it's tiny and has a wooden bridge surrounding it. I spotted some leaves poking out of the water and wanted to get them so I knelt down to pull them, but they were stuck to the bottom of the loch which I didn't realise and I toppled in. Mum grabbed me. I don't really remember too much other than the leaves, trying to get them, falling in, it was hideously dirty and dark, and mum pulling me out. And I remember what colour our bath was after I got home & washed!!

The second time was on holiday in Mablethorpe, Lincs (funny how I remember that!), mum took me to a swimming pool but I wasn't able to swim at the time. She took me to a bit of the pool where I couldn't touch the floor so I would learn to swim but the pool had an automatic wave machine... it came on and I panicked, the lifeguard chucked in a pole for me to grab. (I almost drowned mum in the process )
