...............was a year since Mischa went into Alder Hey Hospital, to have surgery on her bowels. It makes me feel sick to think that at only 9 days old she underwent so much, and we very nearly lost her. But it makes me feel so proud to look at her now, and see just how far she's come.

Nope, no long term effects Suzi, everything functions as normal. She does have a scar, but it's not really that noticeable (it's faded quite a bit since this photo).
