Has been such a good day, the wee boy I mind for was here 8:30am til 4:30pm, and Kirsty was soooooo good We didn't get out anywhere as it's so darn cold outside so I thought being stuck indoors all day would be hard going but things are easier with 2 kids even though they don't play together, they're too young to play together, they play alongside each other.

Kirsty has been so cute and polite, helping my wee mindee, giving him back his cuddle blanket, etc. And anytime I gave her a snack or a drink she would say "oh thank you mummy" I put her to bed tonight and as I laid her down she said "nanite, luff-oo mummy" Such an angel

yeps Sarah, had him for about 3 months but recently his hours to be a full day on a Fri rather than half.

Today she is going to my ILs in the afternoon so I can get a huge clean done in the house, ready for Santa coming!! I can't hoover at all when she is in the house, can't even take the hoover out of the cupboard as she literally turns into a quivering wreck, bless her soul, She's so terrified of the hoover

Aww bless her

Has Kirsty got her own little hoover Fi? Emma used to be terrified of it too but I used to sit her on the sofa and tell her not to be silly, the hoover is not scary and to watch me, I did it every day and she cried for days but eventually she got used to it! I didn't want her to be scared forever so I just got on with it!

I usually hoover on a Thursday (only have rugs downstairs in Kirsty's play area, as we have wooden flooring so I brush them daily and hoover the rugs weekly), and normally I sit her on the couch with Mr Tumble on and tell her it only makes a noise, doesn't hurt us. She normally cries but like you Lucy, things have to get done and so I do it.

Yesterday I did a HUGE hoover, all the nooks and crannies so I felt it would be kinder to send her off, I got a break, she got a break and "different" entertainment with the ILs

Yeah, I never get chance to do a proper full nooks and crannies hoover! My stairs carpet is filthy so I am going to get that done today and up stairs!! Want to get the whole house done so I don't have to worry about cleaning over Xmas, ill just do the least!
